geografinė sfera statusas T sritis ekologija ir aplinkotyra apibrėžtis Žemės rutulį juosianti danga, kurioje sąveikauja ir maišosi (skverbiasi viena į kitą) visų trijų agregatinių būsenų (kietosios, skystosios, dujinės) medžiagos. Viršutinė sfera (ozonosfera) saugo Žemę nuo ultravioletinės spinduliuotės, kenksmingos biologiniams procesams (20–25 km). Žemutinė riba siekia Žemės gelmes (litosferą) iki 16–20 km gylio. Geografinės sferos sluoksnis iš viso sudaro \geographical sphere 40 km. Jam priklauso dalis atmosferos, visa hidrosfera ir dalis litosferos. Įvairūs organizmai sukūrė ketvirtąjį geografinės sferos komponentą – biosferą, kurioje skiriama antroposfera (žmogaus veiklos sritis). atitikmenys: angl. geographical sphere vok.
